Cilia Trappaud is a native of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has danced since the age of 5 and comes from a training background of primarily hip-hop, house, street jazz, experimental, and urban styles. She began working professionally as a dancer in Denmark at a young age, and over time became one of the most sought-after professionals there.

 

In 2015 she did her first training program with Dana Foglia in Los Angeles and returned to attend the programs every year. During one of them Cilia was presented with the opportunity to get signed with an agency and move to Los Angeles with the encouragement and support of Dana. She finally moved in 2018 and also became a Dana Foglia Dance Company member.

 

In addition to being in the DFD company Cilia works in the commercial dance industry on many different projects. She has worked and performed with artists including Rihanna, Usher, Cardi B, 50 cent, Coldplay, Billie Eilish and on several TV shows, award shows, commercials and music videos. 

 

Cilia loves being a student of her craft and believes that it is important to always keep learning. She finds great joy in music and in expressing her own movement.
